We get serious for 9 hours a week (Variably Monday-Wednesday 8pm - 11pm).
We don't have attendance requirements. We don't yell at you if your cat just had kittens, your wife just had a baby and the real life is just staybing you in the teeth so you need time off. But if you join to raid we expect you to put the time and effort forth to actually raid. Be a quality player.
We have fun while still being serious.
We can mess around while raiding but still be serious. That being said we expect our raiders to be ready to go by 8pm. That means in the raid, in vent, buffed up and ready to pull. We only have 9 hours a week, lets make them count!
Raiding Rules:
1. Be Properly Equipped
Blue and purple gear is preferable. Some raids require the level of gear from a previous raid to be good enough to even walk in the door. Make sure your gear matches your spec too.
2. Every piece of your armor will have some enhancement on it.
Armor kits are available from the guild bank for anyone raiding with us for free, we also have some enchanters who will be happy to enchant your items for free, but you may need to supply some mats if we don't have them. The guild bank enchant mats are open for raid gear enchants. 9-24 other people are relying on you being your best. Don't let your uber-ego get in the way of that.
3. Coming Prepared
4. The Build of a Raid
To run raids we need a flexible, learnable, group. You may be asked or required to sit out for a boss or two, or an entire run just so we can bring in the class that we need just to get the raid through. We see it as for the general good of the guild and the raid to do it this way, so we can clear the entire instance. No hard feelings, please. Understand that the build of the group is essential to it's success.
5. Show up on time.
Anyone who shows up late cannot count on being included on the run, even if you signed up, and even if the run isn't started yet. We will not kick someone who didn't sign up, just because you signed up and then showed up late. Replacement time for raiders is the exact time (server) that the run was scheduled for.
6. Listen
Many times it takes patience on everyone's part while we establish a group, plan a fight, and orchestrate the raid. Please listen when you're asked to take a particular role. Do not talk over the top of the Raid Leader, and please keep unnecessary comments off Vent during combat.
7. Mod Requirements
Ventrilo
Omen Threat Meter
A Boss Mod (Big Wigs or Deadly Boss Mods or whatever you like better)
